Can anyone confirm if car rental at Munich airport involves a shuttle bus? I know Hertz is on airport and Thrifty is off airport. Anyone know for Enterprise, Alamo or Budget?

I am pretty sure that none involve a shuttle. We returned a EuropeCar there in October and it appeared that all the returns were in the same location next to the terminal.

The above answers would certainly appear to be correct for Avis, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt, and "Rent a Terstappen". Note that this last one also has "Dollar / Thrifty Car Rental".
All these agencies have the same address: Terminalstraße Mitte which is surely that location on the map for pick-up and return right next to the terminals...see

How long ago did someone say that they used a bus with Thrifty? Maybe it changed over time...
