Hi, I would like to find out about the 'coffee culture' in Iraq. Are there many cafes? Do people living in larger cities (eg Baghdad, Erbil, Barsa) tend to go out and have a cup of coffee, and usually what time of the day? (working days or weekends?). What kind of coffee types do Iraqis prefer (tranditional or latte, espresso, capuccino etc)? Any comments or insight would be highly appreciated! Thank you!

Hello, I would like to know the various ways of getting to Baghdad/Karbala. I read from Wikipedia that there are some flights from Dubai/Iran but the flights from these cities seem to be around 1000USD. Is there any other way to get to these cities?? Thanks

Salam Aleykoom! I lived in Baghdad from 2002-2004 and am writing some short stories about life in pre and post war Iraq. Can anyone in Baghdad tell me the name of the restaurant on Arasat street in Baghdad that had a large pool out front and a big screen to play pop music video clips? So far I have been told it was either Black and White Cafe or Al Mizan (Scales). All the best to the members in Iraq. Let's hope there is peace soon.
