is there any direct air service from India to erbil kurdistan?

Hi all, I'm flying into Erbil on Friday 23 March (10am) before starting a tour on the Saturday. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do on the Friday? I have a feeling that the city will close pretty much all day for prayers. Happy to be proved wrong! Not sure which hotel I'll be staying at yet but it will be something central. Thanks, Nat

Hello anyone , I will be visiting Erbil for business real soon ,and I will be having to stay for some time alone and therefore I will need to rent a small room and then later will have to rent a house when my family joins me in Erbil ? Hi, Recently i was told that i have to go to Arbil on my companies behalf for a project there which would take around 30-35 days. The way things are presently in Iraq I am scared. I know that Arbil is comparetively safe and is like any other mid-east country. I would appreciate if any one can please tell me about the safety and security there. Is there anything i should particularly take care off. Your response will help me a lot. Desperately need feedback.
