      Hi,
      I am planning to backpack in Ethiopia sometime this November with my fiance. Please give me any details that would help me. Expenses. Food. Warnings. Places to visit. How many days would be required to cover several places of interest in Ethiopia. Do I need to take the help of a local travel agency. Last year we backpacked through central and Southern Sri Lanka for 11 days without the help of any travel agency. Is this possible in Ethiopia? Please give me some information on the above and any additional information would be really helpful.

      Hi - I'm about to return to travelling after far too many years in an office job! I'm landing in Addis and plan to travel to Moyale by road. I've heard the back of a truck is the cheapest option - anyone have any tips on this, or advice on a better way of doing it? Thanks very much.

      So how do you ride on top of a truck for that duration? is there nothing else by way of transport? especially if travelling with a female
