I am planning a trip to the Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, region and need to know at which airport I will be arriving. I am traveling from Philadelphia Pa., U.S. any information is appreciated.
The nearest airports are Marseille about 70 miles or Nice about 80 miles. You could almost certainly get a flight from somewhere in your part of the world to Paris then a connection from there to either one of those airports. I am 99% certain you will need a rental car from the airport as the place is in the middle of nowhere. There is one bus a day in July and August, three a week at best outside those times! autocars-sumian.fr/LIGNES/pd...

you are about equal distance marseille and nice so your booking will tell you which airport you will be depending on the airline from Philadelphia. I believe is US Capital but could be other. to get to Moustiers-Sainte-MArie I do the run by car, but there is a bus form gare st charles in marseille autocars-sumian.fr/LIGNES/pd... but in july and august tourist season. you can do it from Nice too castellane.org/fr/aller-en-b... and have a taxi taxi.etoile@wanadoo.fr the best would be a car www.autoeurope.com www.kemwel.com doing it from the USA for years..;car rental brokers with all majors hope it helps

Hi. We fly into Nice. It is easy in and out and you can visit Nice for a few days too. We always lease a car and it is easier to get around when you are way out in the countryside. It's beautiful; you should enjoy it.
