So I'm planning a trip out to southern Utah to check out the parks and the ones on my target list are: Zion, Cedar Breaks, Grand Staircase, and Bryce.
I'll be flying into Vegas and taking a bus either to St George or Cedar City to begin with. I have 4 or 5 days and have to end my trip in Cedar City.
Now I just need to figure out if it's possible to pull this off without a car. I know I could manage Zion and Cedar Breaks on a rented bike since I could bike out there from their closest cities (St George and Cedar City respectively, I believe), but I don't know if it's possible to get the other ones. Even better, however, is if there existed buses or shuttles in between the parks. I know a lot of them have shuttles within them, but I want to know if they go between.
Not sure if I want to try my hand at hitchhiking, since I'm a sole female traveler, but I'd be open to it if it's legal and safe...Maybe getting rides from others camping nearby could be an option but then it would be hard to stick to my desired schedule.
I'm open to all suggestions except renting a car or taking an expensive tour, I have a very limited budget and am generally not a fan of tours.
Thanks!
