dear all, i'll be gong for the everest base camp trek in few days time. would like to know if it's possible to charge the battery for digital camera along the trek. thank you and i look forward to your reply. regards, lee
Hello, Yes it is possible to charge your digital camera batteries. I would bring an Asian wall incert. Namche will be the best place to charge up. The village further down are on solar energy. Bye and maybe I'll see you I'm headed out to Lukla on October 9. Becky

Yeah, you can charge your batteries in Namche, Tengboche, and Pheriche at lodges where you will be stay. Regards, Krishna

You can charge it at almost every spot except Tengboche/Dingboche(at least the lodges I was in), including Gorakh Shep. Namche is the best(some lodges such as Zamling Lodge will offer free charging at Namche). The cost goes up as you ascend, and is about Rs.300/hr of charging at Gorakh Shep.
