Just wondering, it seems as if Mostar is rather small, at night are there restaurants open? Also is there an area people stroll around a bit at night?
Oh yes. Go over to the Ottoman area around the famous bridge. Plenty people & places there. I found a good one - it'll be on my Mostar page.

In the Old town there is Kafana Merak, you can not miss it. If you choose any other place to eat look for Kafana ( Restaurant) which have live music. Sevdalinke are MUST! You can not go to Mostar and not experance sevdah music.
