I would like to visit Mostar. I will be in Zagreb and have 3 days ,two nights that I would like to use to see Mostar. Is the distance too great for that amount of time?? I have to go back to Zagreb for a flight out on day 3. If this is not workable any ideas on another location that is nearer to Zagrab?? Thanks
Dear friend, It is fun to visit Mostar, but could be inconvenient if you lose the flight because of waiting on the border between Croatia and Bosnia. Instead of that there is a nice location nearby Zagreb, Plitvice Lakes. It is really amazing and you should do that on the second day before the flight. First day i recommend Postojna cave in Slovenia if u are from a country in EU or having EU visa for Slovenia. Postojna is not more than 150 km from Zagreb and there are good bus relations to there via Ljubljana. Be sure to rent a coat on the entrance, before entering the cave. Best regards Ezerski

I agree with Ezerski that Mostar is too far from Zagreb for such a short trip by road. You could fly to Sarajevo and take a bus to Mostar. Croatia Airlines return flight costs arround 170Eur, they fly twice/day, you can book online and get an e-ticket - very simple and convenient.
