Hello, I will be very greatful for information about transport possiblities (bus, train) from Sarajevo to Mostar - and for information about prices (roundtrip). Best regards Eric
Eric, Well, I hear that this is the best way to get from Sarajevo to Mostar. I'm doing the journey tomorrow, so I hope that my sources were correct! There are two daily trains from Sarajevo, leaving at 8 am and at around 6 pm. The journey takes about 3 hours. The trains from Mostar for Sarajevo leave at 7 am and at 3.39 pm. The price for the roundtrip is 12 KM, which is worryingly cheap. The phone number for the train station in Sarajevo is + 387 33 655 330, so you can double check the times before you set off. (I've been told that you should sit on the right hand side of the train because of the 'stunning' views!?!) Hope this helped.
