If our flight gets in to the airport around 1245am, is there public transport still running at that time to take us to the Marriott Champlain downtown? We are trying to decide whether to crash in the airport for a few hours until the cheapest public transport starts up in the morning (the Cheap Option), or take other means (i.e. taxi @40 flat rate or shuttle if it's running at that time) direct to the hotel to check in early (upon availability) at 3am or so and pay around100 for the opportunity to check in at that time or we can store our bags there and go to an all-night restaurant nearby and come back to check in around 9am & then it's free). We are 2 older women (75 & 44) so we are balancing price with comfort....Ideas?
Your post is confusing. The check-in time for the hotel is 3 PM meaning you won't get a room until then. I don't know what the free check-in at 9 AM means. Have you already paid for the next few days ? If you are asking whether you want to stay up all night or get a room for the rest of the night that is a personal choice. I'm much younger but for only100 I would want a room the night I arrive. Only you can answer this question.
