Extended Stay Hotel- Safe area

Our first time in Canada and we - 2 adults- need extended stay lodging for the month of June.The hotel needs to be near the Ballet Divertimento School and Choregraphic Center- 3505 rue Durocher(corner of Milton), Montreal. Public transportation needs to be accessible..

    Don't know how much you want to spend but there's an Embassy Suites a couple blocks from there. http://www.embassysuitesmontreal.com/

    Have you thought of contacting McGill University about staying in dormitory housing? If school is not in session, that might be inexpensive and fun. If school is in session, it won't work. Just a thought.

    This Mcgill university area is considered to be a safe place to stay.
    you don't need to use public transport as you have all the facilities et the same place.
    Just buy a day or a week metro pass if you want to visit the city.
    From your school it is a very easy and interesting to montroyal , in the center of montreal, you will meet many montrealers especialy during weekend.

    i don´t know any hotel near there, but you shouldn´t have any problem with transportation or hotel... that´s really in the middle of the action area... all the festivals are close to there.. PLACE DES ARTS...
