Need to book 4 nights in Montreal for later this month. So many mixed reviews for the hotels I'm looking at that I'm wondering if I wouldn't be better off renting a private apartment or studio. Same price, and they look a lot nicer.
We frequently rent apartments/houses when we travel. Much more space and depending on the budget, likely to have more amenities as well. We usually use homeaway.com and have used vrbo.com. I'd just recommend reading the reviews about any place you're considering. Good luck.

It could be difficult to find an appartment for only 4 nights.

i stayed at hotel de paris.. it´s one block away from metro- sherbrook- and one block away from st denis and really close to downtown.. it´s a nice place..
