Getting from train station to university housing

We don't have an address yet, but when my son arrives by train from Paris to Montpelier, what is the best way for him to get to his university housing? Thanks for any help you can give.

    I would be surprised if the University housing units had not a good bus connection with the railway station. All students need it!
