hi. hubby and i are going to france in about 2 weeks time and will fly into beziers airport. can anyone tell me the best way to get from there to montpellier? thanks.
If you have a car, take the A9 AutoRoute. Otherwise, check the airport web site for transportation options You can find most world airports at this web site. http://www.worldairportguides.com You can check highway options at viamichelin to get routes, toll costs, and print out a small map. http://www.viamichelin.com/ If you don't have a car, the train might be the easiest way. http://www.sncf.com/

The train would be the best. We have just come from France and made a lot of use of the local train services. Try voyages-sncf.com/leisure/fr/... to find ecxact times. Hope that helps.

You can download and print the complete timetable for Beziers to Montpellier trains at: ter-sncf.com/Images/Toulouse... Local TER trains take about 50 minutes; faster TGV, TEOZ etc 40 minutes but reservations needed. TER = Transport Express Régional Hope that helps.

Here's the address for the Airport shuttle info beziers.cci.fr/8-13565-Shutt... It looks like you would actually be better off getting the bus to Beziers rather than Agde - it's little more than 20 minutes and only costs 3.10 euros. (Just in case there's a probem with the link, the site http://www.beziersairport.com/ has some useful info and a link to the timetable)

There's a bus from the airport to Beziers, takes about 20 minutes and costs 3.10 euros. Not sure if the bus stops at the railway station on the way to the coach station. Address for the Airport shuttle beziers.cci.fr/8-13565-Shutt... Alternatively take a taxi to Agde railway station - it costs about 30 euros (I think). The trains go thru Agde on the way to Montpellier Just in case there's a probem with the link, try http://www.beziersairport.com/ for some useful info and a link to the timetable)

Sorry, my first answer is incorrect - I am afraid I pasted the wrong info from my clipboard. please disregard - the one about the taxi to Agde was intended for your question
