I have seen posts but all seem to be a few months old. My in laws are moving back to Mexico this month and I would love to go see them around the holidays but want to know what the current conditions are with the cartel and carjackings. Thank you for any imput weather it be good or bad, just want to make sure that we and our children are safe while traveling.
If by "holidays" you're referring to Christmas/New Year's - you're asking about 60 days too soon. The security situation in that particular area and at many of the border crossing areas (the Mexican side) is very fluid. Don't make decisions based on what you hear now.
