Hello, I was wondering if you remember which bus you caught that dropped you off at the cave base camp? or did you take a taxi? Is it difficult to find a taxi or bus to travel in that direction and drop you where you want to be? Thanks for your time and memories...:)
It may be possible to make the trip by bus but unless you speak Spanish I wouldn't suggest it. You're better off using a guided tour, bookable thru tourist hotels, hire a taxi for a half or whole day, or renting a car. The traffic is quite busy and fast, so I would only recommend that if you are used to driving in a large city with lots of traffic and you will probably get somewhat lost a time or two since the sinage isn't the best, so again a knowledge of Spanish is a pre-requisite for that option.
