I am visting Monterey over the fourth of July and was wondering if anyone knows if you can see the fire works from Lovers point in P.G.? Or where the best place to see the fire works is that wouldn't be really crowded?
I'm not sure, but maybe not. Pacific Grove is around the rocky point of the Monterey Peninsula, so high trees and the hill could easily block the view. Best place to view the Monterrey Fireworks would be at the Fisherman's Wharf. For a non-crowded view, try driving up the hill toward the Presidio and parking on the street.
