We want to spend one day on the coast and I see that Grossetto is not to far away, but can't find anything much about it. Please suggest a nice day at the beach for us. We don't want to spend a lot of time driving so we have ruled out Cinque Terre. thanks
Hi, you can go to Castiglione della Pescaia or to Marina di Grosseto. Both of them have got a long beach. Take note that you need about 2 hours /2.5 hours to reach both the town from Montepulciano. I can suggest to stop a night along the cost the day you left Cinque Terra and reach Montepulciano the next day. Enjoy your visit of Tuscany.
