Starting point: Monte Carlo

I'm starting an adventure in Monte Carlo and would love to get suggestions for where I should go from there. I have four days to explore from there. A jaunt down the coast into Italy? Go north into France. What do you suggest?

    If interested in shopping then Milan. If you want beaches go south to Nice. If you really want to go more south go to Barcelona!
