Paris to mont saint michel. 1 day trip

hey, I´m planning to visit Mont Saint Michel and I would like to know the less expensive way to get there from Paris and visit the place in one day. Hope u ppl can help me with this. :)

    Even from Bayeau it is a several hour drive by car. For one person the most cost efficient should be the train. I would check the SNFC website. You could possibly take a the bus routes, but I doubt you would be able to do a day trip using buses.
