    • bus from St Raphael to St Tropez or boat from Nice to St Tropez

      Saint-Tropez 1 hours ago

Hi planning trip Sunday 5/7/15 from Nice to St Tropez. i thought i could get:
      - train to St Raphael and then connect bus to St Tropez and then thought i could return
-bus from St Tropez to St Raphael, then train stopping at Cannes and Antibes (dinner in Antibes) then back to Nice

Can someone can help me find English timetable for bus from St Raphael to St Tropez.
Also can i get off and on the Train Express Regional #81219 heading back to Nice or is this express?
Would also consider boat from Nice to St Tropez and train back stopping at Cannes and Antibes (dinner in Antibes) then back to Nice if this is available?

      Camping Site France

      France Apr 12, 2015 at 9:08 AM

Hi, we are going camping in France later on in the year, when it's warmed up. Can anyone recommend any good camp sites in the central regions.
Ideally we do not want to be completely isolated, but do not want a site that is commercial ie swimming pool, clubhouse, entertainment etc..
Also any recommendations of good web sites offering camp sites.
      Many thanks

    • Tough time finding accomodation for a short stay in August

      Le Cap d'Agde Apr 11, 2015 at 6:43 AM

      Hi,

I am having a tough time finding a place to stay within village for short stay during August. We are a couple from Asia and visiting France for first time. We would like to stay in Cap d'agde for 2-3 nights in a couples-only accommodation.

It seems like only options are hotels Jardin Eden and Babylone. First of all they seem very expensive. Secondly, the agency AGN handling their bookings is notoriously slow in replying to emails (no option to book online).

Can you please advise if there are other options available for short stay in Cap d'agde in August?

    • Paris at Christmas

      Paris 8 hours ago

My boyfriend and I will be in Paris from December 24 to December 28. Some research into Christmas day dining says that only very expensive, very upscale restaurants are open that day? Does anyone have any insight into whether any smaller cafes or ethnic restaurants will open that day? Secondly, does anyone know if any of the upscale restaurants serve a la carte on Christmas day? We're trying to decide if it's worth it to go out to a (very) expensive Christmas day meal (I don't eat meat, so the fancy fois gras would be wasted on me...I do eat fish though, if anyone knows of any prix fixe menus with fish options!) or stop by the store and cook that day. Thank you in advance!
