Is it possible to make a day trip from Evora to Monsaraz? And if we arrived in Monsaraz without reservation in October, would we have trouble finding a room for two? Thanks A
Hi, It is possible, if you travel by car. I don't know if there's any public transportation, ... According to www.viamichelin.com it's 35 miles. Regarding the room, i can't answer you. I only visited Monsaraz for the day, never slept there. It is small and i should say that probably there aren't many places where to sleep. Hi, You'll easily go from Evora to Monsaraz, but only by car. Staying there is another thing because i bellieve there aren't many places to stay. In alternative you can go back to Evora or stay in another big town, like Moura (not as touristic as Evora and cheaper). Monsaraz is worth a visit, see some images on my page. Nice staying
