I see you are from the UK. If you visit your local Boots and ask to speak to the Pharmacist, they will be able to provide you with the latest travel advice for Mombasa. A professional's advice is more appropriate for health matters.

You can also look at this extremely good NHS site: http://www.fitfortravel.nhs.uk/ where you will find all the health information you require. Then visit your GP for information specific to your particular needs and state of health.

I'm not sure, but I assume that you meant to post this under Mombasa in Kenya rather than under Mombassa in Chad ;-) ? For Kenya I believe Yellow Fever vaccinations are required if you have visited an infected area prior to travelling to Kenya, but that it is still recommended for any other visitors as well. For a general overview of travel vaccinations you can have a look at the website below, but in general you should visit a Tropical Medical Bureau or similar for expert advice on what jabs you need, as it often also depends on what areas specifically you want to visit. For a beach holiday around Mombasa for example you may not need all the jabs that would be recommended if you go on camping safari in the bush. mdtravelhealth.com/destinati...

As the OP is from the UK, the first port of call should be his/her own GP who will know the person's state of health and what is/is not appropriate for their holiday.
