Assalamu Alaikum, We (a family of four) will be traveling to Madinah from Jeddah in Mid April, inshallah. We are coming from America for Umrah and will go to Madinah first. We will be staying at Elaf Taiba. What would be the best way to go to the Hotel from the Madinha airport? I assume, Taxi. If so, how much does it cost? Can I make prior reservation? If anyone can share number of Taxi company that would be great too! Another question, we will be traveling from Madinah to Makkah (a family of seven). I was told Saptco would be best choice. Is it right? Or, it's better to take taxi? I checked online, it looks like Saptco costs about SR80 for their VIP service (one way). I have elderly parents with me. Thanks for your response.

Asslam-o-Alikum All: Well, I am planning a trip with my family in September to Medina, inshallah. We will be coming to Madina after performing Umrah inshallah. Our stay will be very short,; about 48 hours and we want to maximize the benefits of our stay inshallah. I know it is going to be Ramadan and with hot weather, mobility is going to be some what limited. But if you guys can help in the following, it will be really appreciated. May Allah bless and reward you for your efforts. What are the good, close to Haram and reasonably priced hotels in Madina? What are the other sacred places we can visit close to Haram? Good places to eat and Shop? What is the best way for a family (4 people)to get around in Madina? We have a flight to Jeddah, right after Friday prayer and will be very tight on time. Any tips so we don't miss the prayer and still make to the airport for the flight. How far is the airport from the Masjid Nabawi? Anything else you like to add which is helpful in our stay? As fas as I know, forbidden zone is historical center of the city (including Prophet's Mosque) but not the whole city. The same question about map of Makkah with clearly marked such borders. As far as I know, it's not just Makkah city limits but much more. Any suggestions appreciated, Nils

Hi all, I would like some information about Yanbu. I'll be moving to Yanbu in about a week and a half's time from London, UK, and I would appreciate some info on services and amenities. My two major obsessions (in order of importance) are the gym and books. So can anyone provide some info on gyms and libraries (with a good stock of English books) in Yanbu. As my father has just stated work out in yanbu and he's living in ararbian homes, my mum and i are planning to visit him. I was wondering how safe it was for two westen women to travel to Jeddah alone and what dangers we will be in while stayin at Arabian homes complex.
