I will be driving from Portland to St. John, NB, Canada via Augusta, Bangor, etc. I have a couple of hours available. Anything along the way interesting/worth stopping to see?
La Casa isn't the only place. Last time I was there it was closed anyway. What about the Blue Ox, or the Schoodic, or the Pelletier's new Resturant? How are they for nightlife?
Sometime in early April 2007 two of us plan to start our A.T. hike, southbound of course, at the Abol bridge. Will we be able to get a shuttle from one of your hotels to this site? I also would like to get a weather history of the last three years of this area to include temperatures, snow fall, and rain. If you could direct me to a site for this history I would appreciate it.
