Depends on the place. Washington DC, Vatican City in Rome, Egypt are examples of places that I want to be in-depth tours.

Hawaii, Mexico, great berrier reef in australia I'll settle for a regular tour.

How interested are you in Frank Lloyd Wright and/or architecture?

If you just want to see it, tour inside, and go then the regular tour is fine. They tell you a lot. That is what I did.

If you have a special interest in Frank Lloyd Wright or architecture, then it may be worth it to invest more money to take the in-depth tour. This IS his best and most famous work, so if you are a big fan of his architecture, Fallingwater would definitely be the place to take the in-depth tour! If you are interested in architecture, you will also hear more about it on the in-depth tour, so once again, it may be worth it.

The average tourist will be fine and learn a lot from the regular tour, but there are definitely people who will benefit and enjoy the in-depth tour much more!

I also notice that you are able to take pictures inside during the in-depth tour but not on the regular tour. That may also be something worth considering! I've never been able to take pictures inside the Frank Lloyd Wright houses I've toured.
