Can anybody tell me what time the Corteo dei Re Magi (Procession of Magi Kings) starts its march from Duomo to Sant’ Eustorgio? What is the program of that celebrations and Corteo dei Re Magi? How much time does it take to follow the procession? And the last question is “Are Milanese shops, churches and basilicas going to be opened and work on January 6?” Thank you in advance for your help and cooperation. Sincerely, Oleg

Is a senior citizen from a non European country entitle to any reduction in the price of tickets (public transportaion, museums etc.)?
About 13 of us are travelling over the Bernina Pass on a Friday next July. We get into Milan from Rome on the 06:55 sleeper, and leave at 08:20, then get in to Tirano at 10:50 but leave at 11:27. We need a picnic for the ride over the top in our open top carriage. So I need either a deli right near Milan station that is open at 07:30 (tough call I think), or one in Tirano who would be able to make up an order in advance and have it ready or even bring it to the station square at 11:00. We'd be spending up to about 500-600 euros but will want something proper good for that. There's a place called Orlandi on the corner of setembrinni and scarlati which would be ideal, but the phone number I have doesnt work and I doubt he's normally open at 07:30, but who knows, may be there is early morning coffee commuter clientelle that he caters for. I know the timings suck, but then I wouldn't have a problem in such a part of the world. If I had at least a clear hour in Tirano we'd be able to do it on impact. But there's nothing I can do with the timetable, it has to be the 11:27 out and the only train out of Milan that will fit is the 08:20. If you know anyone at either that might do this, payment in advance, I have two Italians who can call them to discuss. Grazie
Hi All, My partner and I are arriving in Milan on Dec 27 and contemplating 1-2 days stay in Milan and then wondering where to go for New Year's Eve. Thinking possibly Genoa as we want to travel south towards Rome. As we will be travelling there by train; where would the best budget hotel be near the station in Milan? Thanks for your help.
