TRANSPORT FROM MIJAS COSTA TO FUENGIROLA

I AM STAYING IN MIJAS COSTA IN AUGUST AND NEED TO TRAVEL TO MALAGA AIRPORT TO PICK UP HIRE CAR A COUPLE OF DAYS INTO OUR HOLIDAY...I AM THINKING OF TAKING THE TRAIN FROM FUENGIROLA TO THE AIRPORT BUT NOT SURE ABOUT GETTING FROM MIJAS COSTA TO FUENGIROLA ,,, ANY SUGGESTIONS

    From Mijas costa, there is a "city" bus that runs right along the coast highway, and goes to Malaga. I would probably take a bus to the train station in either Fuengirola or Torremolinos (or a taxi would be quicker). The train goes right to the Malaga airport. Or just grab a taxi to the airport..should be 20/25 euros
