Is there any places (maybe a nice hill overlooking the city or water) that I could take my girlfriend to? We're spending the day in Traverse and I have most of it planned out but I want to finally tell her I love her and I want it to be special.

I'm going to be staying in the Grand Hotel Sept. 30th - Oct. 2nd. What should I make sure to see? I have been to the fort and one of the butterfly houses.
I would like to do some biking but to old to do hills.
Any suggestions? Where do I find the best map of the island?
      Thanks for any help.

This is to anyone who might know. I want to get married in the Dow Gardens there in Midland, but I have a dilemma. I am in the Army and I live out of state right now so it is hard for me to look around. I want to be married outside in an eye catching background that does justice to Michigans true beauty. My question is, does anyone know of a hall, in the area, that can accomidate around 400-500 people and a kitchen where you can make your own food that is fairly close? Also might someone know of any alternative places in Michigan that has a similar setting like Dow Gardens? Thank You for your help!

      Sincerely,
      1Dever
