Hi - I can only find, despite 'Google search' with 2013, older posts of about 2009-2010! Does anyone please have any more up-to-date information for this year, 2013, please?! Many thanks
Annual week together, this year we have chosen to fly to Toulouse and would like to stay somewhere pleasing that provides access to some good, non-strenuous walking and a couple of days out sight-seeing. We enjoy eating out particularly at midday (have car). Village/small town location with at least somewhere to have a glass or two would be ideal, or a rural spot within reach of. Self-catering accommodation sought preferably with internet and pool. 2-3 bedrooms to sleep four.
Can you just "get in line" to swim in the pools or do you have to have something special. Does anyone know what it cost to do this or if it's even possible.
Hello, I will be visiting Toulouse with a friend mid August we are mid 30es. We will be in Toulouse from Aug 16th evening through Aug 19th Morning. We will have a day of touring with Ophorus tour to Albi and Carcassonne (one full day). I am also looking to find a good walking tour of Toulouse (the one highly recommended on trip advisor is off in August). Please provide any recommendations what else can we do. Are there any sights not to be missed in the aforementioned places? I read a comment about Collioure? How close is that to Toulouse, is it worth visiting. Any other advice on good seafood restaurants and of course any significant sights. Also I am traveling to French Riviera after that, the best way, I found so far is on the train. Is there any other recommendations. I checked flying but seems there are only evening flights. Thank you.
Would you please advise. We are arriving at Toulouse Blagnac airport July 18 at midnight. We only have July 19 to visit Lourdes. What is the earliest transportation to Lourdes from Toulouse. Can we buy it on line in advance? Thank you. Best Regards. Bleny Canales 832 607 8546 13826 Peach Hollow Lane Houston Texas 77082
Greetings we are looking for lodges / farms / guest houses in the area that are willing to accommodate 2 fit, able & mature (56 & 58 years old) ladies from South African. They are willing to wash and peel vegetables, prepare meals, do all sorts of chores in exchange for lodge and boarding and the opportunity to experience the essence of the South of France. They are both teachers and want to do this during their mid year school holiday which is approximately 4 weeks long. One of the ladies teaches hospitality studies at secondary level. One of them also has a basic understanding of French. We hope that there are some suggestions as to who we can contact. They will buy their own airtickets, visas and travel insurance. They are looking for a more authentic experience than what one normally gets on the usual packaged tour. Looking forward!
Anyone travelling on Ryanair flight Sat 26 May to Tarbes and then to Lourdes and return Tuesday 29th May care to share a taxi, one way or both ways. The fares seem very expensive for the short distance involved.
My mom and i will be making a pilgrimage to Lourdes this June. I have a disability (polio on one legs and hip replacement on the other). I am planning to get a hotel near the train station so i would appreciate it very much if someone can help me advise on below. 1. Can i hire a taxi from hotel to the Grotto? How much will is usually cost? 2. Is the taxi allowed to go inside the grotto...very near to the pilgrim area? 3. How long is the walk from the taxi stop to the grotto and churches. 4. Is there a motorised scooter i can hire to help to move around the grotto area? 5. Is taxi available anytime. I mean, in case we will be attending the 9pm service, will there be a taxi available to take us back to the hote. Thanks in advance for your response.
I am taking my inlaws in june, and i would like to know the quietest day of the week to visit, if there is one. Thanks chris

Hi, I am going to Lourdes at 2nd week of April, and I will take the train from Toulouse. However, when I am checking for the ticket this morning from sncf site, the price is 80 euro per person for ter train. It's a huge amount. Now my questions are: 1. Is there any cheaper kind of train, like regionale from Toulouse to Lourdes? I plan to take afternoon train i.e 16.00. 2. Is there any other mode of transportation to Lourdes, like bus or sharing cab? I am going there with my 2 friends. Thank you in advance for your help :D Cheers
I will be travelling to Toulouse and I will have one day free. I would like to see something interesting around. I was considering Andora or Bourdoux but it seems to me a bit far (around 200 km one way). Maybe there is someting interesting closer to Toulouse? Thanks for any suggestions. :)
Will be hiring a car to travel through this area but have never driven in France before. Looking to travel from Rocamadour to saint circ lapopie and wondered what the roads are like in this area as they wind through the hills. Are they something a first timer could handle comfortably?

Hi all! I'm flying from the US to France for a wedding May 27-June 1 (wedding is here: http://www.chateausp.com/) I'd like to see these cities while in Europe: Venice/Milan Lucerne/Zurich Bruges/Brussels Edinburgh I'm flying American Airlines which means I can fly in to Paris or Milan I can fly home to the US from Paris, Milan, Zurich, or Brussels I'm having the hardest time coming up with a trip plan with flights, trains, etc. What is your advice on the order we should travel, and how we should travel from each city? It's just my boyfriend and I, we're trying to keep it as a cheap as possible - but we will pay more to avoid spending hours and hours on a train. I'd say up to 4 hours is fine. Ha. Thanks for your help in advance! let me know if I need to provide more information. I'm also welcome to the idea of new city suggestions :)
Can someone suggest a nice hotel at the airport? There are so many to choose from, but I'd like one with a good restaurant and room. Perhaps the Radisson is a good choice? We'll be driving around the Languedoc region for a week. If you've stayed at any wonderful hotel or B&B, that would be helpful, too! Thanks.
Hi, Does anyone know of any good hiking trips from Toulouse that could be done in 1-2 days. I am thinking of one of the GR trails
