Hiya. I'm considering the possibility of leaving Boston to take a job in Middlebury.Anybody know what's there in the form of a gay community and social possibilities? Is it a welcoming place?
Whatever gay life there is in Middlebury relates to the college. I attended school there in the mid-80s and at the time, it was very unwelcoming indeed, but from what I hear, things have improved a lot. And it's only 45 minutes from Burlington where there are one or two gay bars -- and 2 hours from Montréal. You might check the Middlebury College website to see what's going on. (middlebury.edu)
