The answer is no, there is not unless you're talking about a vending machine (around US1.00/can). Nearest would be a Publix or Winn Dixie in Miami Beach - they run around4.99 6 pack? You would have to take a taxi or bus into the beach. What exactly are you looking for?

I suggest you purchase them on the boat. I am not sure but they may not allow you to bring it on board.

We just don't like the Pepsi products offered onboard ! Also we wouldn't mind a bus ride thru the Miami area and maybe a good Cuban lunch while there. Thanks for your help.

I have checked with the cruise line and they do allow you to bring your own sodas/bottled water onboard. They sell Pepsi products onboard and I can not live with that ! Thanks for your help.

Your best bet would be a Publix Supermarket and there are several on Miami Beach. From the Port of Miami, A, B, D, I and J are closest to you. I would stick with A, B & D and have a Cuban lunch on Lincoln Road before. What time does your cruise sail? Here is the Map: maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&s...

First its beyond me why they would allow it. But ok they allow it. As for Pepsi vs. Coke, who cares. Soda is soda in my book. Bad for you but its soda.

gabesz it is neither your place to pass judgement on whether someone prefers coke or pepsi nor the cruise lines for allowing it/not allowing it. If you do not wish to be helpful by contributing valuable information to a new member who has posted for the purpose of getting an answer, please bypass the thread. Your comments are not in the VT spirit. You think soda is bad for you, fine, don't drink it. To the original poster, most of us members on VT are a bit more helpful than this. Please ignore his/her posting...also, I can understand your preference, I too prefer coke. Your comments are not in the VT spirit. Homer

Thanks so much for your imput and assistance and for speaking out on the other answer to my initial question. It is much appreciated. I beleive that the ship departs Miami at 4 pm. There will be four of us - all seniors and we just wanted a place to have a nice Cuban lunch, pick up some sodas and maybe take a bus ride thru some of Miami, then back on the ship and onward to the Panama Canal.
