I am taking my wife to Mexico City for her birthday (next month-April). We live in Spain and are use when traveling we stay in a B&B - that would be centrally located and above all clean, own bathroom and affordable. Would anyone had experience on staying at a B&B in Mexico City and how. Uh does it cost per night? We are not sure if staying in a hotel is mo recommendable as this is our first time to visit Mexico City. Any helpful advise would be greatly appreciated for this matter.
as a suggestion listeninlearn, take a look at destination above right for tips by posters like us on Mexico City or DF. I am sure there is info there on what you are seeking. I stay with family or in hotels when on business.They have B&B there too. Hope it helps your planning

Thank you for your informative inputs. We Re hoping that there would be a VT MEETING. We expect to be in Mexico City on the 18th April for my wife birthday. It would be super great to meet some VTER'S locals. those are the best tips when traveling to a new place. We are both very excited for this holiday in Mexico. Hi there Gwened, You sound very nice, thank you for the suggestion on starting the VT ERS meeting. In deed, we will start posting it, except that we have no idea where and which location....it has to be a very easy going place, even just for a typical dinner which is not at all expensive....if you know what we mean... Thanks again, you indeed are very helpful, which you were in MC instead of France... Best regards.

when i stayed at private home, was with family but they dont rent nor take folks in ,,,hotels royal zona rosa, segovia regency by chapultepec,and camino real polanco when on business trips. cheers
