After seeing the Tulum ruins, my daughter and I plan to go to Playa Paraiso for a couple of hours, since we heard it is one of the most beautiful beaches. I've read there's a small hotel there with a "beach club." I'd like to know if we will be forced to rent a beach lounger/chair and umbrella from them, or can we just find a palm tree and sit under it without having to pay them (not in front of the hotel, of course). I don't know if there are any palm trees in the proximity. I am asking this beacause I read their loungers rent for 200 pesos, which seems a rip-off to me. We might buy a couple of non-alcoholic beverages from them, but I'd only pay 50 pesos at most for an umbrella. We only need shade for 2 to 3 hours, and we really will be needing it since we plan to arrive there by noon. Does somebody know? Thanks!
