Mt Hutt - how to go about organising skiing holiday

Hi, My husband and I are planning on staying in Methven and going skiing at Mt Hutt for three days in in July. Having never been skiing before I don't really know the best way to go about organising everything. Accommodation is simple enough but what about everything else? Clothing/ski hire, lift passes, Methven/Mt Hutt transport, lessons..... Do I need to(or should I) prebook these? Which website? And then how do the logistics work once there? Is hire equipment/clothing kept for the three days or is it rehired each day? Told you I had no idea! Any help greatly appreciated. (-:

You find all this info on my Methven page on VT, particularly under Sports/Outdoors tips. Methven Sports & Outdoors Tips by Kakapo2 For lessons you best go to the NZ Ski website: nzski.com/lessonsAndProgramm... Or even better - or at least as good - make an enquiry with the sports shop you hire your gear with. The shuttles to the skifield depart at the Wombats sports shop.
