Next month our family (no small children) will be driving from Athens to Meteora. We won't be in a hurry and are trying to decide on a brief stop to break up the trip and make it more pleasant. Any recommendations on what is worth the stop for a meal, a pleasant walk, or some other diversion? Lamia looks to be halfway but we aren't sure there is much there. Thanks in advance!
