Yes there is a bus from the main bus station in Athens (KTEL) at 260 Liosion Street Athens. tel 2108311434. I cost about 20 euos. The have nice guest house there, and a town below the mountans is Volos where you can get a private taxi tour if you wish. (more night life there)

Bus info is correct (address and tel.), but the town is KALAMPAKA (or KALAMBAKA), not Volos !!!
