I wander if a car has any advantage when visiting Meteora - if not - I might chose going by train or bus - also if you have recommendation for nice but not expensive accomodation that will be great - any advices are appreciated - thanks - Mary
Hi, If you want to visit the, closest to Kalampaka, Monasteries you don't need a car because they are easilly reachable. But if you want to have unlimited access to each one of them you should rent a car. With a car you have the ability to visit a lot of nearby places and picturesque villages such as Elati and Pertouli.Don't miss a visit at Plastira Lake.
