My wife Teresa 62 can“t climb steps because of his legs; can she visit the interior of a Meteora Monastery ? Thanks. Sal Perez (Mexico)
There are tour buses that go right up to the top. Inside the monastery it is a matter of choice, not necessity if one wants to go up or down steps to see other parts. It is completely possible to remain on the ground floor and wander a bit on the outside too.

In fact there are some monasteries which are one the top of the rock and you have to climb steps to enter and there aree other monasteries, to which the car goes to their entrance. So yes, your wife can visit monasteries. Enjoy!
