We have purchased the 72 Hr Tourist travel card ACTV for our stay in Venice but which buses can we use from Mastre to go to Piazzale Roma? I have read that the airport buses are not covered.
Look at Line 2. Stop 1 is Piazzale Roma and stop 8 is near the Mestre train station... And I wouldn't be surprised if there were other city buses that made this trip... Bill

Airport buses are not covered, no. I found it easier to take the many trains (roughly every 2 minutes or so for much of the day) to/from Mestre. Santa Lucia Station is right next to Piazzale Roma and cost is less than 2 euro one-way. But that will depend where your base in Mestre is; perhaps Mestre station will be too far to walk? You can see bus timetables here: actv.it/en/movingmainland/ur... and if you click on the tiny map far right of each route you will see a route map and list of stops.

Lines 24H and 4L go from Mestre to Venice-Piazzale Roma, and you can use your 72 hours card. There may be others, but I used these ones two weeks ago. You cannot use the card in trains.
