Is there a charge to tour this building? Is is open to public the last week of Oct.?

It's hard NOT to tour the tabernacle. If you stroll around the grounds, you will be repeated approached by squeaky clean young people wanting to show you around.

Last I knew...the Tabernacle was still free to get in and you didn't have to be a member of the church to view. You do, however, have to be a member of the church to get in to the Temple. But it's just as stunning outside. There are several other buildings (or at least that I can remember) on Temple Square to visit and you don't have to be a member to visit those either. Enjoy your visit!

Its a nice interesting tour but they do want to get your address to either send you written info or arrange a home visit. They are missionaries after all
