Hi there, Maybe you can get some info by visiting the Mersing Pages that was written by V.T members. I have one...you can check it out if you like. Anyway if your work is in Mersing Town than there shouldn't be any problem for you coz' Mersing Town is not so big and the people are friendly...Maybe there's no need for you to rent a car. Hope I could be some help to you.

If your budget can afford RM100-RM150 per night, you can try Timotel Hotel (tel:07-7995888) or Seri Malaysia Hotel Mersing (check their website). If you cheaper accommodation, you can try Mersing Inn in town centre. They are abt RM60-RM90 per night.
