      Hello all : I am researching institutions offering CELTA courses in Caracas . I am wondering if anyone knows the area where the "British Council" is located. The address is given as ; Avenida Santa Lucia, Caracas, Venezuela . I would like to know about the safety of the area , if there are convenient locations close by e.g. restaurants , hospital, supermarket etc , the part of Caracas (district ) where it is located and any other info you think might be useful .       Hi. Does anybody please know if there is any budget accomodation in the town of Tabay near Merida? There used to be a hotel named the "Posada Turística Tabay" at the main town square - is it still open? Thanks.

      Hi: I am planing to be in Merida very soon,if anyone has any information about the following I would be very grateful. I am looking for an apartment for two for about 6 months.I would appreciate any information about safety at this time,and about crime (Heard there are currently violent demonstrations at the University)and any other information that you think maybe useful.       Good Day All, I will be traveling to Merida within the next 3 weeks with 3 friends. We will be staying at the La Trucha Azul. Does anyone know anything about this property? And what is a typical day like in Merida? Climate, shopping, dining? Do we need to have a car to get around? thanks
