May I know how can I pay TOLL/ parking? Do I need to buy for a cashcard or how does the system works? Thank you.

Recently I rented a Budget rental car here in Melbourne (I live here and it was because our car was off the road). The car came with an eTag and I was unable to remove it so I could use my own account and eTag. Seems every car for rent has a special eTag and does charge more than the regular account holder or day pass user. I usually pay3.20 on Monday when I go off to a regular appointment, it cost me almost6 for the same journey using the rental car eTag and I suspect it was for a day pass rather than the individual trip I do on EastLink using my own eTag. For parking where ever you need to pay, there will be a meter or a nearby pay station, which accepts cash (usually coins only). Strongly suggest you read parking signs very carefully as some become Clearways and even tow-a-way zones, which are VERY expensive. "1P" means 1 hour parking and not a toilet visit - LOL

Understand only Hertz and Avis had the special tag. The rest of the car rental company don’t have the tag. I would like to go GOR starting from Port Campbell, which route should I use? 1. St Kilda > Princes Hwy/A1 > Scotts Creek- Carpendeit Road > Port Campbell 2. St Kilda > Princes Hwy > Geelong Ring Rd > Lorne Road > Apollo Bay > Port Campbell Is there anything to see on the 1st route?

As said Budget also have the special eTag. Not sure what you mean by "I would like to go GOR starting from Port Campbell" both routes you've shown START from St Kilda. Route 1 is the inland route, route 2 is the GOR. There is very little to see along route 1. If you can, allow 2 nights along the GOR

I will go to port campbell first and start exploring from there. If nothing much to see on Route 1, I will drive to Port Cambell using route 2.

Re GOR - Are you going to return to StKilda? If so I would go via route 1 and return via route 2. If not then use route 2.

By the way the GOR will be closed on Sunday 20th May from 7:00am to 2:30pm. I hope that does not affect you.

Yes it is the Great Ocean Road Marathon. There will be disruption in the week before but only total closure on Sunday.

Yes, I will be returning to St Kilda. Will be travelling on June so should not be affected. Will Going via route 2 be faster?

Route 1 would be faster as it inland and not around the coast. The scenery on route 1 is not spectacular like route 2.
