My daughter is backpacking and will be in Melbourne in April and is looking for a months work . She is 30 y o and can be found here on VT but if you know of any jobs going please reply to me (her dad) as i access VT more often.
I would assume that she does not have a work visa which makes it difficult to find casual jobs. Twenty or thirty years ago it was easier to find casual jobs but now it is a little more difficult and probably illegal without the proper papers.

I agree with Davidjo..........unless she has a work permit, she will find it difficult to find a casual month employment, as most employers are nervous about taking on a casual without a work permit, especially for only one month

Beter late than never. I can't help your daughter with the casual job but the DIAC website have info on working holiday visa. UK is one of the country reciprocal to Australia.
