Hello, I will be staying in Bruges for a little while and then will need to go to Utrecht by coach or by train.
What is the most convenient way to get it?
We're going to Brugge for a weekend in June. We are staying right in the centre and would like to enjoy nice Belgium food. Which restaurant would you recommend for traditional food aimed primarily at locals rather than tourists? We usually enjoy cosy little family restaurants or big busy brasseries with wood & shiny brass decor but not clean, sterile 'trendy' places. Please let me know if your recommendation is best for lunch or dinner or indeed both!
We will be travelling to Belgium as part of our UK/Europe holiday in April. We will hire a car at Lille for 4 days and have booked accommodation in Yvpres. We will be arriving at Lille by Eurostar from London. (Should we book the Eurostar return ticket before we leave Australia or is it ok just to arrive at station and book). Preceding our Belgium visit we are on a cruise from Rome sailing into Anzac Cove on the morning of Anzac Day and spending two full days in the area.
When we return to London from Belgium we have five days free, we will hire a car and thought we may head to the South Coast
We have planned and organised the entire trip ourselves from internet and research and hope to fit in as much as we can but also want to enjoy everything and not just go, go, go. My husband is 69 and I am 66 and reasonably fit.
Any advice/tips/ideas of any kind would be extremely welcome.
Ray & Lynne
