Im a student staying and learning in Berlin. i would like to travel for some nice country-side place in Polen border. I am looking for a quite place, not expansive where i can have a nice walk in the morning and read & write my Thesis.
I will appreciate any advice and recommendations.
We're docking in Warnemunde on a Monday. I'd love to see Schwerin during our day in the area, but the castle website shows it is closed on Mondays. Does this include the grounds as well as the inside? If we can still see the gardens, it might still be worth a trip.
Hi! I'll be driving to Berlin end of the month (Aug 2014) for a weeks stay. Will be in Hotel Lützow near the Tiergarten. I plan to do a lot of walking and use public transport to get around so I do not need the car during my stay. Any recommendations as to where to park the car? On Tripadvisor, the hotel is listed with free parking, every other site notes there is parking available nearby, no pricetag though. All I could find were parking places with 15€+ per day...
My friends have told they have bought cheap Birkenstock-, Merrel- and Rieker-shoes from Berlin, but none of them remebers the places and addresses. When I try to google it here in Finland, google only gives me shops from Finland or online-shops. Even if I write "Berlin". Can anyone tell if there is some good places to find these? I know allmost all the shoes are cheaper in Germany, since I have bought some, and I have bought my last two pair of Birkenstock shoes to use at work from on-line shop from Germany. But it is allways nicer to try them on.
We are coming to Munich in October and going on a week driving tour and would like suggestions of a route of towns to see.We have been to Munich before and have done the typical tourist destinations,so looking for some off the beaten path things to experience.
