Hello, I want to stay longer than a year in India. Does anyone know, if, after 6months, I can just walk to the Pakistan border, get there a one-day visa and reenter with an new 6months India-visa? thanks for your help!!! Sascha
Most people go to Sri Lanka or Nepal or just pay a border to say you went. Sri Lanka visa renewal is said to be a friendlier experience and Pakistan is said to be the other extreme..

Hello Visa regulations depend upon which country you hold a passport for. its probably safest to check with Pakistan embassy in you home country and if possible to get a visa from there. if you are travelling for several months or longer then perhaps obtain a visa from a neighbouring country. good luck bloooer
