Best place to watch ships come into Norfok Navy Base

Hi I am meeting my daughters ship coming into Norfolk. I would like a place to see the ship "at sea" before it actually docks into Norfolk. Is there a good place to watch the ships come into harbor that is not on base?

Hi Travellers, I am relocating to McLean VA soon with my family of wife and a small kid. There we will be living for an year or so.I want to know about the residentials apartments available in McLean. I will be working in Jones Branch - Freddie Mac area. My requirements are -: 1Bed-1Bath room, Nice Kitchen, good society and amenities . Near to shoppings/metro/public utilities. I want to keep rent under 900 USD. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
